My, my; how time flies when you're busy

Too busy to care anymore. I read, but I never have time to write. So here are some quick hits.

The One and Only Ivan: Excellent. Couldn't put it down. When I finished, I felt so sad that I didn't have more pages to read.

One Cool Friend: In love with this book! I've recommended it over and over.

The Pillars of the Earth: great historical fiction. I have no idea how accurate, but I really enjoyed it.

Killing Lincoln: listened to it on Playaway. I got aggravated by the narrator (who happened to be the author), but I really did get into the book. I liked it enough to finish it despite the recording. That says a lot about the writing. I've even ordered the documentary.

Currently reading: Duel with the Devil. I'm fascinated by this book! The author has done a great deal of research and makes the past come alive again in this book. I keep putting it down because I know if I continue to read it, it will end. So I treat it like dessert and only read a little at a time to keep the fun going even longer. It's really great, and I want to read more by this author.
